Dahlia Tubers & Cuttings
Welcome to our store! Some of the Dahlias listed are offered both as tubers and cuttings, others are offered only as tubers or only as cuttings. Click on the variety you love to see if it is offered as a tuber, cutting or both. Rooted cuttings must be ordered at least 6 weeks prior to your preferred shipping date as we custom grow them for your order. You will receive a well-rooted Dahlia cutting which is grown in a soilless medium. To order, choose the variety, then select either tuber or cutting if that option is available, and click on the “Add to Cart” button. Credit or Debit cards & PayPal, Venmo & Apple Pay are all accepted. If you are local to the Mendocino Coast we accept personal checks and cash upon delivery.
Shipping
Choose a shipping date that best suits your area’s planting season. Please familiarize yourself with your hardiness zone when choosing your shipping date. We are not responsible for frozen tubers if you choose a shipping date too early for your zone. We are also not responsible for rooted cuttings that do not survive due to high heat if you choose a shipping date too late for your zone. Please make sure that date is not too early for tubers or too late for rooted cuttings. Dahlia tubers can be shipped within a day of your order if your weather allows. Available shipping dates for rooted cuttings are listed below. Dahlias cannot be planted outside until there is no risk of frost but can be potted up and grown indoors. Your order will be packaged carefully, shipped USPS Priority Mail on a Tuesday, and will arrive at your door 1-3 days from your selected shipping date.
There is a minimum shipping charge of $8.50. I will do my best to ship as many items as possible for the minimum shipping rate. Additional items beyond the minimum rate will be charged .50 for cuttings and $1.00 for tubers. If I’m able to fit more in a box than I thought you will be refunded any shipping surplus with your delivery.

Terms of Sale
I guarantee Dahlia tubers will arrive healthy, with at least one visible eye. Often there will be multiple eyes. The eye may be very obvious, a sprout may have already started or the eye may still be dormant and difficult to see. Different varieties “wake up” from dormancy at different rates.
Tubers come in all shapes and sizes and can range from the size of your pinky to the size of your fist and anywhere in between! In my experience the size of the tuber really doesn’t matter when it comes to growing healthy plants. If there is no eye your tuber will not grow, no matter the size. Tubers are not always pretty but if they have an eye, they will grow into a beautiful plant!
I guarantee Dahlia cuttings will arrive healthy and well-rooted. If there are any problems with your rooted cuttings you must contact me by email within 48 hours of receipt.
I’m a member of the American Dahlia Society and will send you their growing instructions along with my growing tips with your order. You may also email me with general growing questions. While I want you to be satisfied, I am not responsible for your storage or growing methods, neglect, or pest damage.
Customer service is important to me and I want you to be happy! If there are any issues during the growing season, I need to know by August 1st of that growing season and once reviewed, a replacement may be issued the following season.
